Skater dresses are really flattering, but it's a bit tricky for my to fing THE dress that looks nice on me. Back in February, I found a dress that was perfect in Primark and I ended buying two of them. BUT, I think the skirt is too short and I was worried. Fortunately, there were sales in the local fabric store and I bought a thick knit perfect for recreating the dress with some modifications!

Trob que els vestits amb falda de vol afavoreixen molt, però és difícil trobar EL vestit que me quedi bé a jo. Per febrer vaig trobar un vestit que em quedava bé a Primark i en vaig comprar dos, però la falda és massa curta i em preocupava una mica. Per sort, hi va haver rebaixes a Ribes i Casals i vaig trobar-hi un punt perfecte per copiar el vestit amb algunes modificacions!
I lenghtened the skirt (and the back is
longer than the front, just for precaution), rose the neckline and
shortened the sleeves a bit. After sewing everything together, I
noticed the bodice was a bit too wide and I tuck about 1.5cm from
each side. The final garment is really comfy and warm, and in winter
I can just pair it with a cardigan or jumper (winters aren't
specially cold in Majorca).
Vaig allargar-li la falda (i és més
llarga a darrere que a davant per precausió i comoditat), l'escot és
una mica més tancat i les mànigues, una mica més curtes. Després
de cosir-lo tot, el cos va quedar una mica ample i el vaig estrényer
1.5cm a cada costat. El resultat final és fantàstic, súper còmode
i calentó, i a l'hivern me'l puc posar amb una jaqueta i jersei per
no passar fred (a Mallorca els hiverns no solen ser gaire freds).

EliminaEn realidad no tengo el patrón porque lo he hecho a partir de otro vestido que ya tenía, pero es muy fácil de sacar el patrón. Primero copia la forma de una camiseta que te guste hasta la línea de la cintura, y después añade la pieza de la falda. A lo mejor tienes que hacerle algún ajuste una vez cosido todo, pero seguro que te sale bien.
