When I found this pink gingham fabric in Ikea, I felt very lucky. It's some kind of cotton blend ideal for a summer/spring dress. I've used the DIY Circle Skirt Dress (aka Skater Dress) video tutorial by Annika Victoria (her youtube channel is amazing), but with a half circle skirt.

Vaig sentir-me molt afortunada quan vaig trobar aquesta tela de quadrets a Ikea. Segurament és una mescla de cotó ideal per a un vestit de primavera/estiu. Pel patró m'ha servit el vídeo tutorial DIY Circle Skirt Dress (aka Skater Dress) d'Annika Victoria (el seu canal de youtube és fantàstic), però amb una falda de mig cercle.
The bodice is far from perfect (it was huge at first and has additional darts from the armholes to the bust), but it's a beginning. It's fully lined with a hot pink catton and really nice to the touch, I just hope it isn't too hot for the Meditteranean summer.
El cos encara necessita alguns ajustos per a futurs vestits (al principi era molt ample i té pinces a la cintura i a les sises). Tot i així, està folrat amb un cotó rosa fort que el fa molt còmode de dut, encara que esper que no sigui massa calent per a l'estiu mallorquí!
With this kind of skirt, I HAD to take some photos while swirling, and there's a detail of the pockets too, with the same fabric as the bodice linning.
Com no podia ser d'altra manera, havia de fer algunes fotos fent voltes per veure com s'aixeca la falda i un detall de les butxaques (l'interior és igual que el folre del cos).
